Yes to all. I guess I like the look of all those other types of dogs. Besides, maybe the lady players would rather be a “cuter” form of dog if they must be dogs at all. These team mascot names often don’t match up well with the girls’ teams. “Lady Knights”, for instance, makes no sense at all. If a woman somehow made the Chicago Bulls’ roster, would she be a cow?

I’m gonna take a wild guess and say she’s no fan of the Pirates or Vikings, either.
The University of Washington has the Husky as their mascot but uses a Malamute as their “Husky” at games etc as the husky breed is much smaller and less “threatening” then a malamute.
Actually, both are wonderful dogs and would lick you to death before threatening any one.
