But some of you want to turn this guy loose because you think someone else's 4th amendment rights might have been violated in the course of capturing him. Unfortunately you are the one who wants to turn him loose. Case law is well established and illegal searches have overturned convictions. Thankfully there was no evidence against this guy gathered during any illegal searches (that I am aware of). Furthermore I read the indictment and there is a boatload of legally gathered evidence. So his conviction is safe.
