Rand Paul U.S. Senator, 50 By Sarah Palin
When the Tea Party movement wanted to send a message to the Senate in 2010, it elected a clear-sighted eye doctor from the Bluegrass State. In a D.C. too often defined by the venal equivocations of a permanent political class more interested in consolidating its own power than in upholding the Constitution or defending the common good, Senator Rand Paul is a voice of reason awakening the public to what must be done to restore our prosperity and preserve the blessings of liberty for future generations. His brand of libertarian-leaning conservatism attracts young voters, and recently he inspired the nation with his Capraesque filibuster demanding basic answers about our use of drones. I sent him some caribou jerky from Alaska to help keep up his strength on the Senate floor. Theres more where that came from for this bold Senator with 20/20 vision willing to take a stand for liberty.
Palin is a former governor of Alaska

The odds that you are a pure shill of course. Your posts would indicate that. Arguing with the site owner would also lead that way.
I’m not arguing with Jim. I like and respect Jim.
I’m not a shill... i’m a conservative Republican.
These guys like Rand and Mike Lee are going to be the future.
If you believe any of what you just said, you aren’t worth talking to.
I’m very selective on who I support.
I could not support Romney.
I sat out 2012 apart from supporting Cruz.
I’m doing my best to promote the values of conservatism to a younger audience within the GOP.
Well teach, show the class where Amnesty and the pols that support criminal invaders over legal immigrants are ‘conservative’.
Reagan signed a blanket amnesty in 1986 and I consider him one of the best conservative President’s and probably one of the greatest of the 20th century
Reagan’s fault in 1986 was his belief that the Congress sincerely intended to secure the border. History has proven that his trust was misplaced. You can be sure that if Reagan had a do over, that he wouldn’t be fooled the second time.
He still signed amnesty and was a conservative and probably one of the 20th century greatest presidents
BZZZZT!!
Reagan also said it was a huge mistake. He admitted his error. You should too.
He still signed it and nobody considers him a traitor.
Because he admitted his error.
Also Rand’s plan for what its worth is to secure the border and have progress voted on by Congress.
So he’s trying to learn from that misplaced trust.
What did he say about it?
You are a teacher, perhaps you should read some history. Then you do not need to ask questions that most conservatives already know the answers to.
Unless you arent. And the evidence mounts with each passing post.
Here’s a quote from Reagan in his 1984 debate with Mondale:
“I believe in the idea of amnesty for those who have put down roots and lived here, even though sometime back they may have entered illegally,” he said.
Just cut to the chase. Come out and claim that Reagan ever called Amnesty a mistake.
I’m no teach im a young conservative. I’m here to learn and support candidates who I think are best for the GOP.
I fully subscribe to the “No More Bushes” mantra that’s for sure.
But yes I’m sure we wont all agree on everything.
Is there not room for debate within the conservative movement?
Not on core principles, no.
In one way or another we all have a goal of limited government and standing for the constitution.
That’s how I see myself and use as my guide.
Then consult your guide for how far in size and power Amnesty expands, not limits Government.
Side note: You do realize you are in the lions den of the political right here at FR don’t you? You may want to bone up on your conservatism/conservative philosophy before trying too justify amnesty here. Because no one ever will.
