Okaz, the same prominent Saudi newspaper, that published photos of Abdul Rahman Ali Issa Al-Salimi Al-Harbi in the hospital after the Boston marathon bombings, is now reporting that the Saudi national was also visited by the first lady of the United States, Michelle Obama during his hospital stay.
...
In light of recent reports that Alharbi was scheduled for deportation on national security grounds, the first ladys visit takes on much added significance if those reports are true. We already know that the Alharbi clan consists of multiple Al-Qaeda members. This would seem to bolster the claims of scheduled deportation, not claims to the contrary made by the likes of DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, who actually never really answered the question; she just got rankled and blew it off.
With the track record of this administration relative to things like blaming a video for two weeks after the Benghazi attacks, it should have a higher standard to meet and its credibility should be questioned by the American people.
If these reports about Alharbis scheduled deportation for such reasons are correct, a visit by the first lady of the United States would indeed be significant in its importance. It would also be a major national security blunder because of the message it would send.

Of course she did, no surprise there.
Yep the “O’s” do not care at all that the American people know that they have close contact with persons that have Terrorist backgrounds or connections and the “O’s” live in the People’s House and hold the highest Office... Good God, what has this Country become.
Totally believable.
This is the problem with the media, this forum and others, and people in general. In the age of non-stop 24/7 news coverage and speculation people glean facts that fit a narrative without verification and absent of context. Those facts may prove true or may not over time, but they will still be accepted as facts. Nothing you say or point out (valid point about the hands) will penetrate the opinion already formed.
It’s human nature and it’s the enemy of rational analysis when you combine it with dogma and political goals. We make fun of it on MSNBC and ignore it here on FR. Same thing on both sides and conspiracy theories flourish.
I don’t know what to think about this young man who appears to be a very important person in Saudi Arabia. It is probable that he committed no crime, but is now in danger because of the firestorm of speculation. My belief that we should not give young men from Jihadist nations visas to be in the United States is based on statistics, but I can’t and won’t condemn this man absent real facts or based on internet speculation. I do believe this administration puts ideology ahead of common-sense, but it would take an impossible cover-up if this young man had some involvement and you cannot begin to imagine the number of investigators and moving parts surrounding this.
The speculation around this young man has been energized by the media frenzy surrounding the bombings and none of us (nor Glenn Beck) know the truth. All I see is lots of speculation and few facts and I don’t find a gathering of foreign students around their flag to be evidence of a crime. The erroneous reporting and speculation creates a fog that is impossible to penetrate. If you created a flow chart of “facts” posted on this forum surrounding this event it would look like modern art throwing paint in numerous directions. Some people will be forever stuck on the last drops of paint for whichever splash they followed in the moment on the edge or on the frame. Some will wait for the most accurate picture to form in the middle of the canvas absent the media speculation of a breaking news event.
The conspiracy theories will forever be a part of the painting. It’s the same story on both sides of the political spectrum. We make fun of it on DU, but woe to the person that points it out here.
FRegards.
No.
Judas had a period in his life when he supported the forces of Good.
Treasonous—both of them
Big Sis (not a fan) is not an investigator. She will never sit in a chair at a federal court house under oath and relay facts.
Glenn Beck (I like him, but verify) is not an investigator and will never sit in a chair armed with real facts under oath that he is accountable for - he will move onto the next “story.”
In the midst of all this are professional investigators (good ones) who put their reputations and careers on the line because they write actual reports that document the real investigation (not media segments of speculation) that they will have to vigorously defend in court.
I have been wondering what happened to the guy in the blue warm up jacket that was seen with the black hat guy in several pictures. It has been said that the brothers hung out with young foreigners who drove expensive cars. In one of the pictures, it appears that the black hat guy is sitting in the grandstands in the midst of what looks like a group of foreign students.
So, it should have been easy to identify the suspect from the people he was with, unless he just sat down with them to hide himself. The guy in the blue warm up was clearly with him, though.
Secret Service = FAIL!
The two brothers who are suspected bombers supposedly got their money from a rich foreign student. I hope that folks trace the money and if it comes from this kid, I hope that this story gets the Congressional attention it deserves and the impeachment follows shortly.
Ya kinda got this bassackwards.
(a)Although they are both dis-and un-barred now, Michelle was a far more experienced lawyer than Barry
(b)Her Daddy's political connections were instrumental in getting young Barry started
(c)She ended those nasty gay rumors for a while anyway. Reverend Wright probably engineered the beard job.
(d) She had the Bernadine Dohrn connection, Barry the Bill Ayers connection, so it was a perfectly symbiotic hook-up.
(e) She is out there every day providing cover for the Reggie Love thing, her only reward the lavish "separate vacations" and an expense account to die for.
All things considered, The Hawaiian has the best of this deal, IMHO.
Zero placates the enviros by not drilling while trying to buy or placate the Saudis to keep pumping. If the Saudis stop pumping oil for even a day prices go from $88 a barrel to $150.
All this allows zero to keep a vice around our energy needs while destroying the economy with his policies and Bernanke spending 85 billion a month we don't have. They can destroy the economy, control energy and weaken the dollar all at once.
Its an all out attack on America, IMHO.
“A great Fox News anchorette was fired for interpreting that gang fist bump also.”
I didn’t know about that. Who was fired?
From old CNN article, 2004, I think. The militant, Ibrahim al-Harbi, gave himself up Thursday at the Saudi Embassy in Damascus, sources said.
He is said to have met with Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan after the September 11, 2001, attacks on the United States .
...Saudi sources said Ibrahim al-Harbi is in his mid-30s and is known to be an extremist and Islamic fundamentalist.
The sources said he fought in Afghanistan and Chechnya for about 13 years and returned to Saudi Arabia sometime after the September 11 attacks for medical treatment after he was shot in the Russian breakaway republic.
Unconfirmed reports on Islamist Web sites have identified him as fighter in Iraq during the past 15 months. It is not known how Ibrahim al-Harbi entered Syria, but there is speculation among sources that he crossed over its border with Iraq.

That’s the one, thanks for finding it!
Pretty accurate depiction - noting the flag in the fire and both standing on top of the eagle.
Sorry to be way behind the curve, but which one is Ibrahim al-Harbi?
He was reported to have burns. How many days later is that picture taken after the event?
