Why did these guys have to knock over a 7-11 to fund their operations? Don’t the cells get plenty of money from Saudi / Paki / Iranian etc. sponsors?
If they didn’t do it for money, then it seems kind of stupid for them to be pulling stunts like that and drawing attention to themselves before their next (apparently planned) bombing operation?
The Lexington “Shot heard ‘round the World” ceremony was supposed to be held on Lexington green this afternoon but the police pulled the permit and it was re located - wonder if they had intel that Lexington had been targeted?
It would have been another target rich environment with symbolic significance.
