They just played a newly received video at least 70 rounds were shot then camera backs up, then zooms in on the guy shown kissing the pavement. He cannot have survived the volley.

Apparently, the guy lying on the ground was not a bomber, but they were afraid he might be involved and have explosives on him. I think they made him get naked before allowing him up and into a police car, at least they showed a naked man getting into the car, I presume it was the same guy who was probably not involved.
Meanwhile here is an excellent, long article on the take down. The only detail it missed was the use of “flash bangs” to disorient the bomber before they grabbed him.
