MIT issued an emergency alert at 10:48 on Thursday night reporting shots fired on the university campus. The school newspaper reports, "Shots fired near 32 Vassar St (Stata Center), police officer down. Please stay inside." That report is backed up by CBS News's Bonney Kapp who reports hearing "officer down" on the police scanner just before the MIT alert went out. For now, details are scarce, but the suspect is on the loose and considered armed and extremely dangerous.

I agree there was a cultural revolution in the 60s and 70s. I saw this happening after serving in WWII and resuming studies at Berkeley. However, I think Ayers and his ilk were having their own little cultural upheaval. As notorious and despicable as it was their little world was not a cultural upheaval. They just tried to make it such.

The suspect they have captured looks similar to Suspect #1 in Marathon bomber incident.
Guy on CNN right now said he saw the cops putting the fully naked suspect into vehicle, and he was a thinnish, darker-skinned man, resembling Bomber suspect #1.

Cops said all along middle eastern..I trust them more than CNN..we will see. I think it is a whole cell out there. More around.
