A thing is worth exactly what another is willing to give for it.
If someone is willing to pay $2000 for an AR15, it must be worth a lot for them to not wait for prices to come back down. Ditto $70 for a brick of .22.
If someone is breaking in my door at oh-dark-thirty, I’d gladly pay $1000 for one round of .308 if I’m out of ammo!
500 round bricks of .22LR are selling for $150 and selling out in minutes...
