Saying someone is dark-skinned is saying something a lot broader than “African-American”.

There are many “hues” of dark, describing many kinds of peoples both in and out of this country.

The only thing I can take from the description is that the person IS NOT WHITE.

A good example is Barack Hussein Omoslem.

50% white. 44% arab. 6% black.
