Been a lot that lately it seems, like on the majority of threads. Very annoying. Someone mentioned yesterday on another thread how a lot of FReepers used to be able to put their heads together and solve a lot of these things. Don’t know where all the nit wits are coming from.

Dont know where all the nit wits are coming from. Sometimes one has to mimic the media to point out how good they (our media) are at getting the truth out. Okay ... going to serious, but do laugh for your health every once in a while. Simply a suggestion, FRiend.

It’s true. It was Freepers at FreeRepublic (Buckwheat? in particular) that unraveled Dan Rather’s bogus Bush documents story.

To be fair, in the 'CBS' case that Buckhead unraveled and the 'CNN Tailwind' fiasco where Tom Marzullo showed up, we at least had evidence to examine, validate, and contrast/compare.
We even did internal detective work in the 'DITHF' fiasco.
The Boston Marathon bombing doesn't yet have very much evidence yet.
