It’s understandable that Obama doesn’t want to honor Thatcher. After all, if it weren’t for her, Argentina would have the Falklands (or “Maldives” as Obama calls them), and Saddam Hussein would have kept Kuwait.

A very apt and careful choice on their part. Though working class myself and a former union member, I am dismayed at the overkill on Margaret Thatcher.
It is true that jet lag and the difference of diet and climate tends to zap one a little. I have been to St Paul's Cathedral and escorted up to the very top. I saw the area in 1947 when all around the cathedral was flattened by air raids.
In spite of the travel and irrespective of what ever religious beliefs Michele Bachmann may have, this is true. She will at least be within Christopher Wren's masterpiece of over 300 years of age . Lucky for her and I know she will appreciate the experience.
