When are we gonna wise up and simply make tax credits, health care, food stamps, and education free to everybody on the planet?

Once again, Sowell’s hammer meets nail squarely.

Either repeal the Immigration and Naturalization statutes, or enforce them.

And that’s not an `either/or’ fallacy. This: “It’s not `comprehensive immigration reform amnesty’ position of the American Chamber of Commerce and public service unions (vis a vis our capitol hill jack-handles) is insulting to anyone who can add two and two and make four.

But they won’t do that, enforce the law or secure the border, although that’s all we demand.
They want the status quo ante: they will need more cowed, illiterate domestic slaves, `Mexican bagpipe’ operators, pool cleaners and motel maids. And the current crop is getting surly, coming `out of the shadows’ ....

You can’t have it both ways, McLame, Rubicon & `rats!

As an exclamation mark, we just paid our taxes. I rest assured that it will be well spent: on the Muslim Brotherhood. Yet another vacation for the Obamas and their retinue. To provide un-amnesty to “undocumented immigrants” and criminalize law-abiding Americans.

Sadly, people of brilliance like Dr. Sowell, and even people of common sense, can make all the logical arguments they want. The other side is not only not listening; they are not even making a pretense any more of playing by the rules. They are waging a revolution. The rest of us are about to lose our last weapons.
