The Armed Citizen Project, a new group that started in Houston, TX, has two goals: One is to arm residents in neighborhoods with higher crime and study the impact on crime deterrence, and, Two, is to arm the more vulnerable residents, including single ladies and the elderly all free of charge. Executive Director Kyle Coplen drops by this Sunday to discuss the project, which includes a resident taking a safety and training course and passing a background check before receiving one of the groups shotguns.
