BS!!! Just to have records is compiling into a national gun registry. It will be computerized records and can be merged and sorted meaning they have a database.

Given the government's ineptness at designing effective computer systems, she might be technically right. I'm not willing to take that risk, though.

History is replete with examples of how it works:

1. Registration

2. Confiscation

3. Extermination

They all said it was impossible to happen to them.
