I’m seeing your point, GSC. The guy is HIRED to work for the undercover cops. After working for sometime doing legitimate things, he is then asked to get drugs and guns for his employers???
Can anyone say , ‘Entrapment’?
Not impressed with the caliber of ATF agents here. They should have recognized early on that Wright was a small fish and his arrest and conviction did not warrant the time and expense of an undercover operation. He should have been tossed back and the entire operation should have been scrapped.
Did the ATF begin this operation under the auspices of HOPING to land a few big ones? Before committing the time and money on this effort, did they not know who they were after, or even had a releable tie-in to the wanted parties?
Undercover operations should never be undertaken on the off-chance that they might land a big one. Have a plan at the very least.
Sounds like they set up a sting in an honest town and had to get someone to pin something on. So they picked the retarded guy.
Sheesh. Holders Justice department is a total joke.
