Part Two rocked! I thought they’d never make the transition with new actors, but I was mistaken. It did get better and Part Three is to start filming in a few weeks. I got the casting call for auditions back in December, but was otherwise occupied and couldn’t make the trip to North Carolina.

I have a slight hearing impairment (probably from too many years in the rhythm section), so when I rent a movie, I put the English Subtitles on. I still listen intently, but the subtitles fill in anything I might miss due to ambient sound or swelling background music. Even so, the dialogue in 2 was crisper and more easy to hear than in one.

Here is a great trivia question.

A Star Trek actor appeared in 1.
Another Star Trek Actor appeared in 2.

Who were They?

Answer: Armin Shimmerman, who played “Quark” in Deep Space Nine, played Dr. Ferris in 1.

Robert Picardo, the Emergency Medical Hologram on Voyager, was in 2.

Both actors played “Government Scientists”.
