Every border school in the state of AZ has that problem. And when we complain about it, we're told that schools aren't in the business of checking citizenship; as long as a student says they live with Tia Maria in Douglas (AZ) then the school keeps them enrolled.
Of course, higher headcounts translate to increased dollars from the Dept. of Ed.
Texas as many other states are full of illegals and have been for years.
The sad part is of the children that have lived here and been raised here.
thier parents should be deported, not them. They know no other life but American, and their parents should be deported , not them.
Many of the children love it here.
I know of a boy who has lived here all his life. Good boy, wife, 2 children, good job, and he’s trying to make himself legal. They may deport now because he got in trouble in high school. Never would have known if he didn’t try to be legal.
They’re mad at the mother for not doing the right thing and want her to help with legal fees, like that will happen.

The fact is that those kids are all US Citizens or lawful permanent residents. They get checked at the border just like everyone else.
