Quick Overview

A first of its kind ammunition to help protect you and your family from unwanted surveillance.

Details

Big Brother is watching, and with modern technology, if Big Brother can see it, he can turn it into a giant smoking crater with just the press of a button. Even your secret remote wilderness bunker is no match for today’s military drones. In partnership with Tacnition Ammo, Lucky Gunner is happy to introduce a new way for you to fight back against the All Seeing Eye with our new anti-drone shotgun loads.

Years of research and development have gone into these highly effective 12 gauge shells that can turn even Joe Biden’s double barrel shotgun into an instant anti-aircraft platform. Specially formulated propellant is capable of launching 9 pellets of depleted uranium rounds up to 1 km straight up into the air. With accurate shot placement, this armor piercing buckshot will disable vital systems on modern military drones. At minimum, the force of impact will disable navigation systems, but in over 60% of our field tests, the drones were incapable of remaining airborne after contact with our Anti-Drone Loads.

NOTE: Drone Loads are intended for entertainment use only and not intended to be used in any manner not in accordance with federal and local laws. Lucky Gunner assumes no responsibility for any illegal activity involving Tacnition Drone Ammo.

I put this in Activism because I figured use of these would likely constitute such . . .

I doubt any shotgun load would have enough range for drones.

April fools anyone?
Better to build yourself a punt gun, like 4 gauge, make the loads of shot connected by steel cable.

Speaking as an old Navy Fire Control Technician who has shot a lot of 5”38 rounds, I doubt that a shotgun would reach a drone. I must say that I do not know the altitude that an operational drone flies at. One also needs to figure out how much to lead it.

At last, the solution to my problem! When I’m free-falling through a formation of drones with a smoking pistol in either hand, there’s no good way to reload. I mean, sure, I could put 30-round magazines on my Webley-Vickers, but those might be illegal soon.

Too bad that all govt drones (not COT toys) operate above audible and visual range from the ground. Much less shotgun or even rifle range.

If-when it comes to that, eliminate drones by eliminating the drivers, their family, friends, dwellings, etc

(read that somewhere)

A Predator MQ-1 has a service ceiling of 25,000 feet, a range of 675 nautical miles.

You’d need one hell of a shotgun to take that out. The AGM-114 Hellfire has a range of about 5 miles, and travels at Mach 1.3. 20 pound high-explosive warhead.

You’re gonna need a bigger shotgun.

It would probably be more plausible to jam UAV’s using ‘spark gap’ methods.

Just as the best platform to take out an airplane is another airplane, and the best platform to take out a tank is another tank, anti-drone drones are going to be the ticket. I’m sure there plenty of them under development in various military R&D labs.

For now. They are scaling down to drones of much smaller sizes and utility.
