Texas has all of the positive assets for businesses like Magpul. No income tax, tort reform, great transportation, diversified economy, skilled labor pool, low cost of living, good schools and post secondary education, and most important (the preconditions to all positive attributes) - liberty!
... and property taxes that are right up there with the northeast. I love Texas but all the partisans tend to leave that little detail out for some odd reason. Governments will extract their pound of flesh in one way or another, some more than others but they all do. Even in Texas.
