Hickenlooper said the state's new laws "tighten up a little bit things like universal background checks, which clearly make a significant difference, that's where we put our initial focus." (Denverpost, 3/25/2013)
Tighten up a bit here and there, 'initial focus' here and there, and where does that leave the people of CO?
No. This time, they are smart enough to not put all their eggs [magazines] in one basket [Texas, or any other single location.]
Ever see the fireworks stands just across state lines? Expect exactly the same thing with magazine shops just across the Wyoming state line.
And it'll only work better if MagPul and others continue production of magazines exactly identical to the pre-Colorado ban ones.
The funniest thing was when the Democrat leader of the Colorado legislature said that he would pass a law that would allow Magpul to sell its products outside Colorado, just not in-state..
Where’s that?
Sheridan has been trying to woo them as well.
Wyoming or Montana?
Very interesting comment. It is funny how the free and slave states seem to be almost totally reversed today from pre 1865.
I think WY would be a perfect fit.
I feel sorry for the guy in the background of the first picture. He’s getting sacked because of the liberals that run his state.
I wonder if he voted for them? If so, then I don’t feel sorry for him after all.
A Colorado business exit because of liberal excess”””
A Business?
I read this post to say that the suppliers who are essential to Magpul are also considering leaving Colorado, and that they are participating in the selection of new locationS.
Tuco’s law is of course from the movie “THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY”. Excellent quote, Sir.

... and property taxes that are right up there with the northeast. I love Texas but all the partisans tend to leave that little detail out for some odd reason. Governments will extract their pound of flesh in one way or another, some more than others but they all do. Even in Texas.
That would be APEX, the Armory Parts Exchange, one of the *big three* suppliers of parts for military surplus weapons.
The story is that not only are they moving to Wyoming, [no income tax or inventory taxes, among other benefits] but that a couple of the prospective Wyo Chambers of Commerce offered to provide semitrailer trucks, drivers and loading crews to assist with the move...free!
Bye-Bye Colorado. Don't let the empty factory and manufacturing facilities hit you in the a$$. Maybe you can use them as dormitories for your growing Mexican meth gangs.
don’t think you can trade in bullets like gold. Aside from having a far more limited shelf life. Most people still wont accept them.
