Agreed. I have enjoyed the series with the errors. It doesn’t replace the Book and perhaps it will inspire some to pick it up... just like a good movie might inspire someone to read the book it was based off of. It makes it easier to read when you have some idea of what is in it.

Also agreed. It is a dramatization and synopsis and paraphrase and excerptation, with some blending and some mistakes. It is not an attempt of a new translation from the Hebrew and Greek.

I hope to see persons of Christian faith produce many, many more dramatizations of scripture.

The really sad part is they assume that we have NOW been exposed to Jesus due to this series. Like before the show came on none of us had a clue. Maybe it was just a poor choice of words on the writers part. I’ve enjoyed it for what it is warts and all. I didn’t expect they could do or represent everything so kudos for getting it mostly right. (Still waiting for richard burton and liz taylor to make an appearance)
