Chris Hayes isnt just trying to bring his pretend the cameras arent there chatter to prime time. Hes going to try his weekend guest-selection formula of quotas. Hard quotas. So reports the Columbia Journalism Review. It gives a "more inclusive" feel to his new show's title, "All In."
"We just would look at the board and say, We already have too many white men. We cant have more. Really, that was it, Hayes said to Ann Friedman. Always, constantly just counting, Monitoring the diversity of the guests along gender lines, and along race and ethnicity lines.
It sounds like the boy might be a racist. Maybe he could line up a few NBA teams.
Don’t they have quotas for idiots, perverts etc?
“Those whom the Gods would destroy”....
Why doesn’t Hayes do the honorable thing and give his job to a deserving non-white?
The real tragedy of advanced liberalism is that it renders satire impossible.
The real tragedy of advanced liberalism is that it renders satire impossible.
That’s very good. And right on.
These days it’s sometimes difficult to determine if some things are satire.
Hope Chris won’t mind if I make my viewing decisions along “people who have something interesting to say” lines.
So what is Opie going to talk about with his guests of color? Is he going to apologize a lot and say how he wishes he wasn’t a pasty faced twit?
What's MSNBC?
“The real tragedy of advanced liberalism is that it renders satire impossible.”
But it renders statements like these. Perfection!
Kill yourself, Chris... one less white man.
LOL! Ain't that the truth!
I predict that within 3 months the ratings will be such that MSNBC’ll be begging Ed Schultz to come back.
I think they should have quotas for viewers too. Their viewership too white too.
What exactly is this MSNBC everyone is talking about?
It's the outfit whose ratings make the Oprah Winfrey Network look good.
Get out the cattle cars and fire-up the crematorium - we have too many white people!
He was up just before Melissa Harris Perry (Al Sharton’s daughter) on Weekend Mornings and his guest panel always looked very white compared to hers as she ran a program near 100% focused on minority victim themes: abortion, discrimination, voting suppression, gay rights, .... and Hayes show was more on politics analysis from a liberal view.
