I have never been so pessimistic. I'm seriously concerned that we may be at the point of the Weimar Republic where things must melt down so much that we are forced to either do the right thing or accept the "strong man" who will "save us". Weimar, obviously, made the wrong choice.
I think we have fallen so low morally that making the RIGHT choice is going to be very, very difficult. As important as your suggested reforms are they would require years and many elections to have an effect. I don't think we have that long.
Well, as Edmund Burke said, "All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to remain silent."
So it is incumbent upon us supporters of republican government in the United States to speak out loudly against election fraud and cheating and suggest rational changes to counteract it.
Remember, this is the most important issue out there, because election outcomes form the basis of the direction in which all public policy goes! So, if the election procedure is not cleaned up, we could very well have a second American revolutionary war.
It is funny that you say that because I have resigned myself to believing that's the only solution. I am looking for the biggest ego, no filter sociopath we can to, at least, take on the communists. The results may not be optimal but at least these leftist $%&*s and their drone followers will get what they deserve. I will settle for that at this point.

At least Weimar was allowed to make a choice. In the last election, the thuggery and fraud was so dominant that no choice was allowed to be made. WE are way worse off than Weimar was at that point.
