This is a very interesting glimpse of what life could be like when SHTF. If SHTF. One tip that I am going to follow up on is to order some disposable lighters. Only about $13 for 50 on eBay. And of course, I need more food.

If the lighters are for you skip them and get a magnesium fire starting block. Much better as long as you are not to cold to use it as it is lite with a flint strip on the side.

I have a gross of those stored in the refigerator I have in the shed.(Bought at Sam's)

I also have the fire starting sticks too.
