Yeah, yeah. I know a lot of people have a problem with Glenn Beck. To be honest, I do too, sometimes.
But this is something worth listening to.
He lays out how we are being intentionally distracted in order to slip the truly insidious agenda contained within the stimulus packages, Common Core and other Progressive initiatives.
This will not go unpunished!
Heh, heh. Sorry about that. Sometimes my inner German manifests without my knowledge.
I like Glenn Beck, especially the information he has presented on our educational system and what is going on. My question to you, if you don’t mind, is what does being prepared encompass? Thanks for your post.
What could go wrong?
No problemo!
And I’m sorry to say that Tom Luna, head of the Idaho Dept of Education is fully on board with the Common Core program, and has even taken Beck to task over his objections.
At Luna’s level, it’s about money. At higher levels, it’s about indoctrination and control.
The goal is:
Free government childcare/schooling from birth through age 22.
An on-line computer for each child.
Use the computer to gather every kind of information about the child and his family.
Use the computer to implement a curriculum to remediate the child's thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
Steer children into careers chosen for them by the government.
If anyone is skeptical, read this letter from the President of the National Center on Education and the Economy to Hilary Clinton, in 1992.
As for me and my household, we decided to homeschool.
One of the lessons of modern history: all it takes to seize total power is a small cadre of individuals with a sense of purpose and the will to power.
Slaughter and atrocity ensue.
He does put out some good info. However, he cries more than a 7 year old girl and is a drama queen. That rubs dudes the wrong way, including myself.
So it isn’t the information he puts out, but his personality that many don’t like. I certainly can’t speak for everyone though.
March 7, 2013
A somewhat revised version of S.B. 167 was heard on March 4, 2013 in the Senate Education and Youth Committee. After becoming apparent that the bill would not have the votes to pass out of committee, bill sponsor Sen. Ligon requested that no vote be taken on the bill. This procedure allows the bill to remain alive for the 2014 Legislative Session.
Our Gov. Nathan Deal (R) quietly got this passed and implemented in 2010. The Republicans got this passed. What in the name of all that is holy were they thinking??
Please go to stopcommoncore.org to learn more.
Also please see the great youtube video's about this at: No to Common Core

...or there is a "glitch" in the banking system: a solar flare, or a cyber attack..which disables the ATM's and credit card system so that it is impossible to get cash or buy stuff.....
...it IS going on as we speak in Europe, and we are one lunatic decision away from being in the same situation right here in River City.
I am not a "doomsday prepper". I am not storing 3 year's provisions or fortifying my "compound". If there is domestic strife, I intend to fight it out in my front yard.
Most natural disasters will last for less than 2 weeks, so if we all just could "survive" on our own for that amount of time, we would all be ok.
Food, water, toilet paper, battery radio, gas in your car, good books, and a little cash which will get you thru 2 weeks will do the trick for most of the disasters.
Thank you for taking the time and respond. Great information and tips. Appreciate it.
“Most natural disasters will last for less than 2 weeks, so if we all just could “survive” on our own for that amount of time, we would all be ok.”
One helluva lot more clarity/detail is required on that first fragment of the sentence. Therein lies the big unknown. That is when most chaos will set the stage for anything that occurs later, if you survive.
people have been talking about collapse, choase, break down of society my whole life. every 5 years a new “end of the world” comes along. Remember the dreaded Ice Age that was going to freeze us all to death, destroy our food supplies, back in the 70s? Its all nonesense - just a way for people to sell survival gear and make others feel secure. Its always good to keep a few weeks supplies on hand for natural disasters, fires, loss of electricity. But to build your life upon it is unhealthy and unrealistic. Same with hoarding all this ammo. Just making yourselves big targets for thieves.
...I was addressing natural disasters.
Man made disasters are another thing...they can last a lifetime...and they are the ones that the "preppers" are addressing IMO.
I am too old and too tired and too lazy, I suppose, to prep for what a lot of people anticipate....which is a total breakdown of society.
I will have to admit that I have not been successful in convincing my adult children the urgency of being prepared for chaos and what will happen when hungry, low info people come looking for food....but that is my failure.
I know whatcha mean in convincing youth, of anything actually. Most of us seem to have gone through that stage, although generally not in combination with the events of these times. So that is not a failure. Hopefully they will not need to learn the hard way. Age—I am in later years as well, although we am prepping, and if something doesn’t happen “soon”, I’ll be “operating” a lazyboy rocker instead of a Ghille suit. ;-)
