No, that's just convenient thinking. Walmart has been way at low hours per week for years. My neighbor works there and they give him sometimes just four hours a day. Price of gas to get to and from work eats 1/3 a days pay on those days.

Walmart - Third world products were just the start. Now offering third world wages too!

No, Walmart's been doing that for a long time. Like the article says, store managers are rewarded for slashing payroll and hours down to the bare minimum.

Then why isn't it also impacting Kohl's, Costco, Walgreens, or my local grocery store? None of them seem to have a problem keeping their shelves stocked.

And you can add Best Buy to your list of under-staffed stores. I stopped by there yesterday to pick up a copy of "Lincoln" and wandered the shelves for a few minutes to see if there was another movie I might pick up. The shelves looked like they had been looted.

Yep Obammycare and Wallyworld’s decision to shift store management and staff to immigrants so they could pay them less. You get what you pay for. They also ditched the founder’s conservative philosphy.

Their downfall was inevitable.
