Sorry for misrepresenting your position. Actually, when I said "YOUR" position I was speaking more in general terms (i.e., "your" position meaning the general position that you represent, rather than trying to very specifically determine the precise details of your personal take on it).
As far as missing things by a light year, I'd say that you seem to have missed MY position by a light year.

So for someone to tell me I'm a "liberal," well, that's kind of like someone looking at a cat and describing it as "a dog."

I don't know how you can say "nothing bad will happen," when plenty of "bad" things have already happened, and when "bad" things happen to me all the time as a result of my standing up for the truth.
I can't tell you how many times I've been called all kinds of names, falsely accused of being a "liberal," a "troll," "paid," etc. I can't tell you how many insults have been flung my way simply because I'm not necessarily willing to stand idly by and let people mangle and misrepresent the Constitution.
And this on a site where presumably people are supposed to agree that the Constitution is important.
