There is a majority of Sunni states in the Arab league. Assad is (or was.....but probably still is) an ally of Iran, a Shiite state.

So which branch will run the new Caliphate....Sunni or Shiite....

I guess they will fight over it to the death.

Obama has been sending Egypt money, planes, tanks etc - and then this thing in Syria happens. And, he just got back from the region?

And, a Turkish official met with the Ambassador in Benghazi the night he was killed.

And, all the talk about gunruning.

There are so many bits and pieces.

I have never trusted Obama and I especially do not trust him now.

He is up to something and probably has been for some time. Remember he told the Russian fellow to tell Putin that he would have more "flexibility" after the election.

"Flexibility" on what?
