i love music but if that is their demand it is no wonder the music has died in San Francisco. absurd
Many classical musicians feel that playing other people’s compositions along with 40 other people warrants special consideration.
Most classical musicians are also batcrap insane. Seems that somewhere along the line perspective goes out the window. Especially since many Chinese/Japanese schoolkids play at their level and think themselves normal, not special.
2nd rate orchestra, anyway. They’re lucky to be working at all.
