Perhaps you need to get out more.

See if you can figure it out.
Oh, I ain’t angry. I’m just a tired ole bitter crackpot who wants scientist's feet held to the fire. A lot us non-brainy folks aren’t bookworms, but we can smell carp when it stinks.
And I don’t confuse integral math in the physical world either. Local point-in-time weather events as you call it are a slice of the overall global weather timeline. The one the global warming nazis love to ignore. Physics 101. Hell, it’s been over 50 years since I took a class, but the ole noggen still works pretty good.

What is nonsense to you makes sense to me. What makes sense to you does not make sense to me, though there was once a time when it did.

It may be because you haven’t met the Author yet.
:)
Seriously, though, some passages are more difficult to parse than others. I once asked a wise preacher about the meaning of a certain somewhat obscure passage. His response was, “Are you going to live that today?” I replied by asking, “How can I live it if I don’t even know what it means?” He said, “There are a lot of passages whose meaning is clear. Focus on living those in your life, and perhaps God will reveal the meaning of the more difficult passages to you.”

It is my sincere hope that you come to know Him as I have.
Thanks Graewoulf.
Skeptic editor Michael Shermer... whose political views lean toward libertarianism, wrote a column for Scientific American titled "The Liberal War on Science," noting the lefts tendency to deny human cognitive evolution and the safety of biotech crops and nuclear power. [Mother Jones writer Chris] Mooney, author of a book called The Republican War on Science, retorted with a story headlined "There is No Such Thing as a Liberal War on Science." The rights denial of evolutionary biology and man-made global warming, Mooney argued, are much more consequential for public policy. While acknowledging that a substantial percentage of Democrats dont believe in human evolution or man-made global warming either, Mooney took comfort in the fact that considerably fewer Democrats than Republicans get the science wrong on these issues.Shermer's an AGW nutter, and the absolute last thing he is is a libertarian. Mooney's just a piece of leftist trash. Both are atheists. The only way I'd want to meet either one of them is by pissing on their graves. I hope it's soon.
Excellent.
Because they can't read their own diplomas.
Plus they spend all their time watching sports, moronic network TV, driving while texting, eyes focused on some electronic device that an actual intelligent person created, or playing violent video games.
Sorry, but that's idiotic, it assumes that being in a majority makes these losers right... There is clear evidence that warming STOPPED around 10 - 12 years ago. There is also clear evidence that any warming which there ever was, was caused by the sun and not man.
A FYI PING!
I was going to call my new discipline ‘science’ but I see that name is being used for a bait and switch scam to steal barge loads of cash from taxpayers. ;^)
RE: “Wake me up when the “real conservative” party line stops being so ignorant.”
Bravo. Best line I’ve read on here in a long damn time.
My experience with scientists in college was that they staked out a position, got tenure and then spent the rest of their lives defending their original position no matter what the facts said.
That reminds me of an assertion by theologian Dr. Wayne Grudem about his opinion on a particular Biblical issue that came up during his systematic theology lectures. Before he dealt with the topic he pointed out that he had done his doctoral thesis on that particular subject. This meant that he was not necessarily right, but simply that you would not be able to change his mind. :)
