Yeah..I’ve been gone for awhile...I used to hold out hope for reform....now I know for certain that is a waste.
The only way forward is to convince Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Palin, Mike Lee, and maybe one or two others to form the nucleus for an en masse party realignment. I think if they all left at once and joined another party, they could really help to get things established. Its the only way that I can see in the short term.
Its clear there is no hope for reform in the GOP. The cancer has overtaken the patient.
The GOP is about to become what it wants to be. Completely irrelevant to any form of conservative thought, social or otherwise.
And it will STILL lose national elections.
