If you paid attention, the damaging soundbites came as a result of liberal slanted questions designed to pit Republicans against one another. A conservative moderator would elicit answers that are of value to conservatives. That’s not what we got.
I agree I’d rather have no debates if we’re only going to get Jim Lehrer asking the questions. And that goes double for the General Election.
So what value do debates have in the first place....I say they are counter-productive regardless of moderator, especially with liberally biased moderators.
