Furthermore, Texas’ primary should be moved up, since we are the largest solidly Republican state. We should have a big say as to who the nominee is, rather than merely rubber stamping the winner of small states like Iowa and New Hampshire.

Iowa now has too many lofo voters for anyone's good. No one should pay much attention to Iowa, let alone continue to reward it with the first caucus. If the GOP had any sense - yeah, I know - they'd let Iowa continue to hold the cartoonish, county fair-like, can-I-buy-your-vote animal judging (aka: "Ames Straw Poll") and otherwise let them caucus so far back in the pack that political narcolepsy would pull a merciful veil over it.
