Unions vs Democrats?

Where’s the downside?

There are two possible downsides:

• The unions get what they want, thus dragging the city deeper into the mire;
• The Democrats use the unions’ agitation as an excuse to seize more power and apply the law in a draconian fashion.

I see no conservatives there seizing the opportunity to weaken the entrenched Dems and their union allies.
