Their methods are the stuff of genius.
They mock and deride your common sense. They get us to a point when our innate sense of thriving, indeed even surviving, stop functioning. They make us allow ourselves to override our sense of right and wrong and stand mute.
This method requires no weapons, it effectively allows the masses to kill themselves by not fighting back.
Republicans are especially susceptible to this.
Hi..... I just woke up.... not really awake yet, so I missed it.
Any idea where I might find a replay??
Mitt probably lost 2-3 points by not having Sarah speak at the Convention! What an idiot!!!
I hope someone posts it soon. I had to miss it also, but really wanted to see it.
Get over it!!!! You and some others from FR past just like to use every little meaningless critique of Sarah like not lilting her voice! We have a country to save and Sarah is one of those championing what’s good and all you guys do is show up talking about voice tones
Get over it yourself! You can check - I’ve never posted on Palin threads other than posting pretty graphics of her way early on. That can be proved. You - who are in thrall - just never like to hear anyone speak some truth.
If you thought that speech sounded shrill, you just must not like the delivery of the female voice in general, because there wasn’t any shrillness there.
Are there any female conservative politicians whose speaking style you like?
No one's perfect. Some of us have shrill voices, others have quirky mannerisms and traits. What's shrill and quirky to one, may be an admiral characteristic to another. She speaks from her heart with love for country.
Sarah says the background checks should have started with Obama!
I hear ya on illegal immigration. It is my one point of disagreement that I’m aware of with Palin—and the one point by which she doesn’t hold the country’s majority position.
I’m no fan of affirmative action or set-asides either.
So far Ted Cruz is sounding better on the issues, but he’s coming with zero political record and the question as to being a natural born citizen.
Who do you think we have who’s better?
Thank you, SO MUCH.
Oh, and the issue with the political consultants is syphoning off hundreds of millions of political donations for their own enrichment and at the cost of being politically ineffective.
Palin hasn’t done that at all. She’s done the conservatively right thing and made enough money to support her disabled child through adulthood, among other things.
Her voice has been spoken of many times.
I am a woman, so am familiar with women’s voices, and a lower voice sounds better.
[No one’s perfect. Some of us have shrill voices, others have quirky mannerisms and traits.]
I agree.
If she ever runs, she will have my vote.... she has always had it.
T.W. Shannon, Speaker, OK House is offering a powerful speech for Capitalism and free markets. He’s not mentioned “need for diversity”, but says standing on true conservative principles is what will bring EVERYONE to our party and what makes this nation great. He said the best answer to poverty is not government, but a good paying job. He sounds like a great conservative with a bright future in the party.
She really hasn’t said anything on immigration lately. She was fairly supportive back when she was on the ticket with McCain but that was to be expected. The only other time I really heard her mention the issue was in an interview a few years ago with O’Reilly where he kept badgering her about it and she gave a fairly lukewarm reply that just said basically that she didn’t want to deport everyone and and that some deal could probably be worked out.
But it’s never been a major issue for her and she’s never really been out in front pushing it like say McCain, Rubio, Jeb Bush, etc... have.
She was a very strong supoprter of Gov Brewer’s when the AZ law was a big issue.
I’d wait until she says something more recent and detailed on the issue before coming to any firm conclusions.
