Another possible solution: Sign an agreement with the ChiComs to let them have Detroit as a special administrative region in return for writing off some of our debt for a period of, say, 50 years. They can vote in any ChiCom elections which their new rulers see fit to hold.

Once the S.A.R. agreement is up, they will be free to reapply to the State of Michigan for admission.

There’s not going to be any rioting in Detroit. Last year it was Shabazz threatening to burn the city down. What he ended up doing was collecting volunteers to board up abandoned houses, clean up trash, and mow grass.
