Three diplomatic security agents were among the Americans injured during the terrorist attack last September on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, sources tell Fox News, though it remains unclear how many total were injured in the assault.
Four Americans, including the U.S. ambassador, were killed in the attack, and the Obama administration faced intense criticism from Republicans in the aftermath over security problems and apparent inconsistencies in officials explanation of what happens. Lately, however, the focus has turned to the attack's survivors, who still have not been named.
Republican lawmakers this week stepped up their campaign to gain access to the survivors, with one claiming the Obama administration is engaging in a "cover-up" and another threatening to bring "legal charges."
Rep. Frank Wolf, R-Va., told Fox News on Tuesday that some of the survivors have been at a Washington-area military hospital since the attack, saying their injuries must be "serious."
Yet, he said, "we don't honor these people, we don't mention their names."
"It's like it's a dark hole, and I think we're now at a point -- now there is a cover-up," Wolf told Fox News, calling for a "select committee" to investigate Benghazi.

I’m trying to understand your position.
Are you saying the Federal Government has them in isolation in order to “help them recover”?
How long do you think that might take? A year? 5 years? 10 years? Until Barry isn’t President anymore?
Reminds me of the TV movie THE DISAPPEARANCE OF FLIGHT 412 in which a plane load of people are taken to a “secret” location and debriefed to believe they did not see the UFOs they saw.
No doubt these Benghazi survivors are being properly “debriefed”.
Kind of like the movie DARK CITY in which your memories have been replaced with others.
theory: the feds have them under arrest/courtmartialed because they acted in direction violatoin of obama’s orders, whatever they were.
As long as there is dead silence all theories are valid.
Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping!
To get onto The Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping List you must threaten to report me to the Mods if I dont add you to the list...
"Around thirty" people, if initial reports are to be believed, are being held incommunicado. All of them presumably have families -- wives (or husbands), children, mothers, fathers, etc.
Yet not a single person has raised his voice -- or contacted anybody who has spoken out.
This is a strong indication that some serious threats have been made. Or that money has changed hands in return for secrecy.
All of which serves to deepen the mystery. Clearly, there IS a cover-up going on. And, just as clearly, the affair is deeply incriminating -- a scandal of potentially monstrous proportions. But what, exactly, is being covered up?
It's a shame there is no longer any taste for investigative journalism in the press...
Kind of like the movie DARK CITY in which your memories have been replaced with others.
Have you considered that you might be confusing Hollywood movies with real life? You might want to say away from HBO for a while.
Or they don't exist?
At this point, how do we know they’re even alive?
Alright, who proofread this?
“It’s a shame there is no longer any taste for investigative journalism in the press...”
No doubt it has been Fostered/Brietbarted.
***You might want to say away from HBO for a while. ****
I don’t watch HBO or SHOWTIME or SKINIMAX.
I saw the first show over 43 years ago an still remember it as well as I do SHADOW ON THE LAND. Dark City came later.
It is like seeing a film version of Animal Farm, 1984, and Brave New World all rolled into one.
Meanwhile where are the Benghazi survivors?
You hide the survivors for 6 months, people will start inventing explanations.
Put the survivors in a press conference. End of conspiracy theories.
“Alright, who proofread this?”
Lol. I don’t know, but let’s hope they don’t give us a visit.

(Sorry. I couldn’t resist. ;)
We really don't, do we? Aside from John Kerry's report that at least one is still alive.
That's if you trust Kerry to tell the truth, of course.
Most of the people involved were probably CIA, CIA contractors and other security people. Most (if not all) reportedly came from the "CIA Annex", after all.
If everything had been kosher, I presume that State and CIA officials would have made representations to the Senate and House Intelligence Committees straightforwardly explaining the whys and wherefores of their presence and what had happened to them. Thus, there would've been no need to interview the survivors.
The fact that such representations were not made is instructive in itself. Something was going on in Benghazi that shouldn't have been going on. And the administration is determined that nobody's going to find out about it.
If I am not mistaken, whatever it was was a John Brennan operation. As I recall, this came out in association with Petraeus' resignation.
So, not only is the President and the Secretary of State directly implicated in the affair, so is the current Director of the CIA.
I have read that one of the survivors is fighting for his life. I have read that another is fighting to keep a limb. There are others who aren’t hospitalized. Leave the ones in hospital alone. That is what I am saying. I have no clue about the others. They could be in the field. The reports are that they killed over 100 attackers that night. I don’t think parading the survivors around in public honors them. As for whether or not they were carrying out questionable orders, closed hearings are a better way to find out those answers in my opinion. I would like to know what they were doing. I would like to know a lot of things. I would like to be able to trust that we have elected representatives who are wise enough to ask the right questions and honorable enough to do the right thing by those who put their lives on the line doing things that will never be told due to the nature of clandestine operations.
I don't have a clue, but any member of Congress can interview them via subpoena. If that can't work anymore, maybe we are in some cheesy Hollywood movie script, but I don't see any evidence of that.
Sorry for my 'slap' at you, but I just hate Hollywood so much that comparing real-world serious stuff to those bastards and their fantasy scripts just ticks me off. I see far too many young folks who think Hollywood is somehow real life. Never was, (even at their best) never will be even close as long as the hard left owns the industry.
Today, Hollywood is just a multi-billion dollar propaganda machine for the hard left.
Clandestine and probably illegal. Certainly foolish.
