” Cruz, Rand Paul, LtC West - these are the people that are making the left lose what little minds they have left.”
Yep, at least we have a few.

None of these amendments are absolute.
Who determines that, Dick Turban? You?
Man, we are so screwed if we don’t get more people like Cruz fighting for us.
And Fineswine never answered the question...her cavalry rode to her rescue.

“...And I will add, she made herself look like a raving lunatic who shouldnt be allowed to own a gun, herself....”
She didn’t have to go very far, nor do very much, to paint that picture.
Ted Cruz was under control, calm, and to the point.
The Old Bolshevik Brigade jumped to her defense because they saw how freaked she was becoming that some young upstart Senator dared to question her.
Screw them. Ted Cruz walked away with that one, and the country (those watching anyway) saw it.
If not, you wouldn’t have seen the mediots falling all over themselves trying to demonize Cruz.
They’re panicking, because their little Sandy Hook emotional blood dance window is already closed.

Yep.

That’s true but that’s not what is under discussion. Gun (firearm) control is what Congress is working on.

>>I thought these were God given rights,
The god of Feinstein and her ilk are themselves. That's the problem described in Romans 1 - and "because of this, God gave them over".
You're correct - our rights are a gift from God. But Feinstein will never read that writing on the wall, even though she could probably see it when perched on her throne.

“I’m not a sixth grader,” said Feinstein.
“Equally chilling is Turban Durbins statement that these rights ARE NOT absolute.”
It would be of immense benefit to the American tax payer to assist in sending Senators Feinstein and Durbin to a remedial Civics course. Any public junior high school in the Washington area should be acceptable, given the level of knowledge possessed by the above mentioned individuals.

Sent a Email to Diana Feinstein In regard to this exemption in her bill - Assault weapons used by military, law enforcement, and retired law enforcement; and Antique weapons. My question was, Why are law enforcement, and retired law enforcement personnel exempted but not retired military? This exemption is unfair to the American people. NO one class of persons should be put above another. Treat all the same. Her reply was - She is getting over welling amount of emails. That she will only answer in state emails. My email was sent from Colorado. Here in Co we are loosing GUN right. Glad NM is close for gun shows.

I think the argument against the "none are absolute" statement is pretty simple in the case of weapons:
1. Your right to possess firearms (and ammo) shall not be infringed.
2. Your right to use them has limitations - i.e., you cannot murder law-abiding people, you cannot hunt out-of-season, etc.
Meanwhile, if the Dems feel this way, why aren't THEY up in arms about the Government's large purchases of weapons?
