Agree about Northern NM, my nephew from Long Beach Ca., got a job with the NM State Police and they assigned him to Questa. He was all excited thinking the whole place was like Taos.... Got a rude awakening.

I saw a lot of “Not For Sale” signs when we went down to camp in the southern Manzanos back in 2005.
Must be all those Californians with lots of RE cash pestering them. :^)
Why do they need signs? If they don’t want to sell then don’t.
