HE PRACTICES WHAT HE PREACHES, that is undeniable. Not just for show. He’s the real deal. We expect the Pope to be an advocate for the poor, that is no surprise. Some say there’s a liberal ideology there, but on the other hand he is against same sex marriage. As far as Popes go, he fits the bill perfectly.

I don’t think any cardinal who is against same sex marriage and/or pro-choice would have a chance to get elected.
Does he advocate for the poor through individual charity, or does he support socialist government intervention? Seems to be some uncertainty how he will go in the future. And all of Latin America is waiting to see.
