My contacts in SK say the current exercises are much bigger than anything they’ve seen before. They think its prep for war.
Team Spirit entailed actual Army divisions coming from Hawaii and CONUS, Marines from Okinawa, fleets of US and other allied naval vessels, many hundreds of military aircraft and, of course, the entire ROK military along with the US 2nd Infantry Division, IIRC. I can’t imagine something bigger than that, save for 1950. But if it is, it’s no wonder Kim is worried.
