Undercover cops fatally shot a teenager in Brooklyn last night after he pointed a loaded gun at an officer, police sources and witnesses said.
Kimani Gray, 16, was shot in the leg and stomach when he whipped out a .38-caliber revolver after adjusting the waistband on his pants, said cops.
The two undercover officers, driving a red umarked car, had approached the group of teens because they were acting suspiciously on East 52nd Street near Snyder Street in East Flatbush just before 11:30 p.m.

Me rejoin reality? You’re the one who doesn’t even know who he’s talking to.
Are there or are there not thousands (if not millions) of .38s out there that will accept a .357 cartridge. Yes or no?
John Kerry?
apparently .357. He couldn’t afford to have two more bullets (from the article). Prolly too dumb to know a .38 could have filled up the other two holes in the round thingy.
If your .38 Special revolver will accept a .357 Mag cartridge, then there’s something wrong with it, and if you shoot a .357 in a .38, then there’s something wrong with you. Why you call me “John Kerry”, I don’t know, but I always end up frustrated whenever I argue with a stubborn idiot, especially one who doesn’t know anything about guns.
You said yourself that older .38s were made without shoulders in the cylinders so that makes no sense to say there is something wrong with it.
...and if you shoot a .357 in a .38, then theres something wrong with you.
That makes no sense. I am the one warning others that it's a possibility. You're the reckless jerk who is telling people "it can't be done."
Why you call me John Kerry, I dont know,...
He is famous for arrogantly saying "don't you know who I am?" LOL
I always end up frustrated whenever I argue with a stubborn idiot, especially one who doesnt know anything about guns.
When you have totally lost the argument and the facts don't support you at all you have ad-hominem. It's obvious why you can't answer a simple yes-no question. It destroys your position. You don't know shit about guns.
Are there or are there not thousands (if not millions) of .38s in circulation that will accept a .357 cartridge. Yes or no?
Your imaginary argument over a handful (not “millions”)of antique guns has degenerated into your petulant name calling
and near psychotic behavior. I want nothing more to do with you or your imaginary argument. It serves no purpose to argue with low-information blowhards like you.
Are there or are there not thousands (if not millions) of .38s in circulation that will accept a .357 cartridge. Yes or no?
You’re an anal-obsessive nut consumed with the possibility that some idiot might put the wrong shell in a century-old revolver. I never lied about anything, but I’m done arguing with a nutjob. And the answer to your demand is “NO, there are not “millions” of such guns in circulation.” Nobody made that many in the first place, idiot.
Are there or are there not thousands (if not millions) of .38s in circulation that will accept a .357 cartridge. Yes or no?
Revolvers made for .38 and .38 special that will accept and fire a .357 cartridge are hardly a century old nor are they “defective.” They were made for a long time and guns don’t age much if given even minimal care. Or simply not used and abused. Be aware of the danger. If you lose an eye or the use of your hand you probably won’t care how “minimal” the chances were that it happened to you.
