During a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on gun control Thursday, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) shot down a proposed amendment to her assault weapons ban that would exempt military veterans from the gun ban. She also made some questionable claims.
Pushing a ban on high-capacity magazines, Feinstein argued that it is legal to hunt humans with 15-round, 30-round, even 150-round magazines.
Heres her dubious rationale:
The time has come, America, to step up and ban these weapons. The other very important part of this bill is to ban large capacity ammunition feeding devices, those that hold more than 10 rounds. We have federal regulations and state laws that prohibit hunting ducks with more than three rounds. And yet its legal to hunt humans with 15-round, 30-round, even 150-round magazines. Limiting magazine capacity is critical because it is when a criminal, a drug dealer, a deranged individual has to pause to change magazines and reload that the police or brave bystanders have the opportunity to take that individual down.

I am reminded of the classic Looney Tunes, Rabbit Season-Duck Season with Daffy Duck and Buggs Bunny where they keep changing the season for Elmer Fudd.
The version that goes through my head is, 'Liberal Season', and 'Muslim Season'.
Thanks yoe.
I thought it was illegal to hunt humans with my single shot .22 cal. rifle or with my hammer.
DiFi just started another 6 yr term.
Californians will have to wait a while before dumping her in favor of Ashley Judd.
But my no-nonsense 39-pound Chocolate Lab made quick work of her. Ducks fear that little girl.

Sen. Feinstein Makes Wild Claim to Push Criminalizing Homosexual Acts at Senate Committee Hearing
During a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on homosexuality Thursday, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) shot down a proposed amendment to her “homosexual sex” ban that would exempt military veterans from arrest for alleged homosexual acts. She also made some questionable claims.
Pushing a ban on multiple homosexual partners, Feinstein argued that it is “legal to have sex with 15, 30, even 150 other people of the same sex.
The time has come, America, to step up and ban these perverted acts. The other very important part of this bill is to ban homosexuals having multiple sex partners, those that have more than 10 liaisons. We used to have federal regulations and state laws that legalized homosexuals who were caught in the act. And yet its now legal to for homosexuals to have 15, 30, even 150 sex partners. Limiting their ability to sodomize each other is critical because when a criminal, a pedophile, a deranged individual is a homosexual the police or brave bystanders have the opportunity to take that individual down.”
I have to admit my wifes father once had a Goose that attcked me, but my number 12 clodhopper drove it away.

i don’t think that legislation is going anywhere
If Feinswine has a 150 round mag up her sleeve, I'd like to see it. I know there are 5 round magazines, 15 round magazines, 30 round is the defacto standard, SureFire makes four column 60 and 100 round magazines, the Beta C drum is 100 also. The only way I know of getting 150 round capacity is to add a belt fed upper (which completely avoids the issue of a magazine don't it?)
The Beta C drum is not know for reliability and requires the user to apply a dry lube like graphite flake to minimize jamming. The Colorado theater shooter had one and it jammed shortly after he started his rampage. He caused most of his destruction with a 12 bore shotgun and buckshot. Drums are slow to reload when compared to double and quadruple stack magazines which load from stripper clips quite nicely. The SureFire 100 round magazine protrudes a significant distance below an AR-15 which interferes with any chance of firing from prone, and adds serious weight to a 7 pound rifle. The SureFire 60 round is only marginally longer than a standard 30 round mag, due to the three springs and 2 followers. The 4 column stack is indeed wider than a standard 30 for obvious reasons. Both 60 and 100 round SureFire magazines are "dead bang" reliable and I have never experienced a "failure to feed" with my 60s.
Isn't she the one that showed up for a photo op at a committee meeting, waving an AK-47 around with a finger on the trigger. That was classic, demonstrating for the world to see that she "don't know jack about firearms"!

“”And yet its legal to hunt humans with 15-round, 30-round, even 150-round magazines””
I saw that this morning and sent her an email to ask WHERE IS IT LEGAL TO HUNT HUMANS? Waiting breathlessly for her reply....
Fence California NOW!
It has to suck to live there.
There should be a lawyer season too...
I have that on my home page. No one has ever reported seeing the gun do violence.
Can you make that picture a little larger, I can’t see it. :-)
Using her logic - any cop that has been anywhere near a shooting incident may now be compromised and shouldn’t be allowed near a gun. She just invented the disposable cop...
You’re not kidding — I need to pay attention to the size next time...I wish there was an edit button — since it was painted like Emperor Zero propaganda poster, I wanted to use it — I had no idea I would need a 60 inch screen just to view it!
