Actress Daryl Hannah says she suffers for her hard-left activism.

The Splash star, talking up her appearance in the new assault on climate change skeptics dubbed Greedy Lying Bastards, says being outspoken in Hollywood comes with a price.

CM: Do you think that your acting career has suffered in any way — or that you’ve lost any roles — because of your outspoken activism?

DH: I know that’s been the case in some instances, for sure. But that’s OK. The truth is, I’m a human being above all. I love life. And I’d love to see life go on on this planet, and thrive.

Hannah also says reporters no longer do investigative journalism for fear of losing their jobs, one reason why the public doesn't demand action on climate change.

The last movie I saw her in was Dancing At The Blue Iguana. She played the part of an air head stripper. She played the part well but she looked anorexic. I think it was filmed around 2002.

In Randall Kleiser’s 1982 film “Summer Lovers”, she spent most of her time naked, wading in the surf. She was a fox back then.

That was a lighthearted, "cute" flick - I have it in my collection. Hannah was a good fit. I still still preferred the French actress, Valerie Quenessen (played an archaeologist, with smarts). Peter Gallagher, of course, had the best deal of all, waking up between both of them. In the same genre/spirit of that lighthearted sex-romp type of flick, I highly recommend "Blame It On Rio" with Michael Caine, with eye candy Demi Moore and Michelle Johnson... /g
