I don't think that was the intent of his post, rather to insist that everything is not as it was before Mandela's election, and that the increase in overt racial violence directed against Afrikaners increased after his elction. The food shortages are well documented,and have been caused by erratic rain and
displacement (read:Afrikaners deserting their farms). Here's one link to a story about that.

I agree. When the Afrikaners handed power over to the Africans, the overt racial violence went from Afrikaners against Africans to Africans against Afrikaners.
Still doesn't justify Pistorius Jr.'s behavior or Pistorius Sr.'s rhetoric.
