"It's certainly not worth losing your life over $20, $30, $100 or so, so we always tell people to comply," said Knoxville Police Department Spokesperson Darrell Debusk.
Not good advice from the police. Some robbers shoot the victim after they comply to do away with witnesses.
You’re exactly right - in the early 90s my cousin owned a pawn shop in south Mississippi.....one afternoon his wife (who was a nurse at a local hospital) was working with him as she was off from her job when a young punk came in (already on bail for another shooting) and robbed them. He then made both get on their knees and killed them with gunshots to the head. That little SOB is now sitting on death row (I guess at some point he’ll be put to death).
Criminals love soft, compliant targets. They tend to avoid places that will get them deceased.
Chances are probably good that it will be life. On the other hand, what if it is death.
In a situation like this, I'd assume the worst — shoot and ask questions later.
Same BS advice they gave airline passengers pre-9/11. Comply, everything will be just fine. And the gungrabbers want these “authorities” to be the only people who are armed?
I say “Let’s roll !!!”
Really? You think that won't encourage them to keep coming back?
What if they want your daughter? Should you leave the window unlocked for them?
I disagree unequivocally. Shoot the bastard at the first opportunity; all 17 rounds in the magazine.
He made the decision that his life was worth $20, $30, $100 or so. Who are we to disagree?
