I remember when I was a teenager and you always had to put a coin in the slot in order to open the door to the stall. Wasn’t much but did help pay for the maintenance of the bathrooms. We kids never had any money back then - and as older adults now find ourselves in the same position - so we’d just crawl under the door.

‘Course the arthritic knees and elbows plus the extra sixty pounds make crawling under the door a little more problematic for me than it was fifty-five years ago...

I stopped in Barstow California about 45 years ago and they had a pay toilet.

I have never stopped in Barstow since.

Businesses need to remember why they are in business or accept that someone will never stop there again.
