Bonnie and Clyde ran between Texas, KC and Chicago....

And there was the shootout at the Train Station in Kansas City with the Feds moving a prisoner via Train.

Rovers are on one year back order. That should make it easy compared to tracking a killer who only left an Addis visor at the body dump.

Checking my facts:

Bonnie and Clyde

************************************EXCERPTS*******************************************

Bonnie and Clyde

Bonnie and Clyde in March 1933, in a photo found by police at the Joplin, Missouri hideout

Bonnie Elizabeth Parker (October 1, 1910 – May 23, 1934) and Clyde Chestnut Barrow (March 24, 1909 – May 23, 1934) were well-known outlaws, robbers, and criminals who traveled the Central United States with their gang during the Great Depression. The "Barrow Gang" included at times Buck Barrow, Blanche Barrow, Raymond Hamilton, W.D. Jones, Joe Palmer, Ralph Fults, and Henry Methvin. Their exploits captured the attention of the American public during the "public enemy era" between 1931 and 1934. Though known today for his dozen-or-so bank robberies, Barrow in fact preferred to rob small stores or rural gas stations. The gang is believed to have killed at least nine police officers and committed several civilian murders. The couple themselves were eventually ambushed and killed in Louisiana by law officers. Their reputation was cemented in American pop folklore by Arthur Penn's 1967 film Bonnie and Clyde.[1]

Even during their lifetimes, the couple's depiction in the press was at considerable odds with the hardscrabble reality of their life on the road—particularly in the case of Parker. Though she was present at a hundred or more felonies during her two years as Barrow's companion,[2] she was not the machine gun-wielding cartoon killer portrayed in the newspapers, newsreels, and pulp detective magazines of the day. Gang member W. D. Jones was unsure whether he had ever seen her fire at officers.[3][4] Parker's reputation as a cigar-smoking gun moll grew out of a playful snapshot found by police at an abandoned hideout, released to the press, and published nationwide; while she did chain-smoke Camel cigarettes, she was not a cigar smoker.[5]

Author-historian Jeff Guinn explains that it was the release of these very photos that put the outlaws on the media map and launched their legend: "John Dillinger had matinee-idol good looks and Pretty Boy Floyd had the best possible nickname, but the Joplin photos introduced new criminal superstars with the most titillating trademark of all—illicit sex. Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker were wild and young, and supposedly slept together. Without Bonnie, the media outside Texas might have dismissed Clyde as a gun-toting punk, if it ever considered him at all. With her sassy photographs, Bonnie supplied the sex-appeal, the oomph, that allowed the two of them to transcend the small-scale thefts and needless killings that actually comprised their criminal careers."[6]

Are they SURE this wasn’t square-dance callers?

The caller usually just instigates the violence, but doesn't get involved.

Thanks for the info on the Rover. Shows you how much I know about new cars. My youngest grandson wants to design cars when he gets older but he’s more into the high end like the Maserati. Will be interesting to see how this all unfolds.

How the hell dose an “aspiring rapper” afford a Maseratti?

Wait, don’t answer that. It was rhetorical.....

“I heard Jerry Doyle talk show, a resident of Vegas, say the taxi was running on a alternate clean burning fuel source ...propane.
Might explain the instant fire bomb.”

Uh huh. Betcha won’t see a call to ban all propane-powered vehicles.

“Rap has changed alot since the “Suger HIll Gang”. In their 1977 hit “Rapper’s Delight” they ever sang the line “hey America, we love thee”.

1979 actually. But all the same. The early rap like Run DMC was mostly just “My Adidas”, “Imma get me a new hat” etc. Wasn’t really until the 90s that the thug thing took over in force.

I just started my second go-round on FO-NV, I’ve pretty much maxed out everything on my first game. This time I’m trying out some of the MODS.

Great fun!

Fallout: New Vegas was one of the best games I played last year.

Even more so since I played it "blind" (meaning I knew next to nothing about the Fallout Universe beforehand, I didn't bother with a strategy guide and I played as a Woman! Which I normally always play RPG as guys, because I am one)

I don't normally ever replay games though, but since I keep a vast Library of saves I can easily jump back to spot that I want to replay.

However here at the start of this year I wanted more Fallout fix so I got the Ultimate Edition of Fallout 3.

To be 100% honest, New Vegas is Better, but I haven't gotten through 3 even half way yet and it's better like Age of Empires 2 is Better than Age of Empires 1.

So it's not a knock against 3.

I sided with with the N.C.R., Female Red Headed Courier, and Good Karma all around. What about you Bullish?

P.S. I have the Xbox version so I can't do the Mods, I hear though getting Gojira, a giant Fire Gecko and terrorizing Camp McCarren is fun!

Mods are very cool and there’s lots of them to try out. I played the first time with no mods and maxed out my character. I ended up being quite a good guy and a wasteland hero all around. This time with mods I’m playing quite a bit more Develish.

PS: I also played fallout 3 and completed the game.

Fallout NV and FO3 is loosely based on an old commodore game by Electronic Arts that I played probably 20 yrs ago called wasteland. Loved it even though it was mostly text based and a top down perspective.

They only Devlish thing I did with my Courier that I can recall is Killing Benny instead of releasing him and I didn't like the fact that I had to off Mr. House for the NCR. I always felt their should have been a Coexist option.

But that was offset by Charging in guns a blazing, armed with Joshua Graham's gear (that I got after completing Honest Hearts) with Rex and Boone by my side and popping a cap in Caesar's ass.

Since I played a girl, that made it even more satisfying.

As for Fallout 3 I am back to playing the guy and trekking the Wastleland to find those damn bobbleheads.

I never played wastleland (due to mostly being a wee babe when it came out) I hear New Vegas is a tribute to it and many of N.V. developers are working on Wasteland 2 right now.

Girlfriend of rapper killed on Las Vegas Strip defends his reputation

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) — Asmayti “May” Hagos, the 22-year-old girlfriend of the aspiring rapper Kenneth Cherry Jr., called a press conference today at the Greco Law Group office in downtown Las Vegas to talk about her relationship with Cherry and his past.

However, Hagos would not say how Cherry afforded his Maserati and his living expenses. She would only say that he was an aspiring rapper who promoted his shows in Las Vegas.

Hagos admitted that she has a criminal record for prostitution but said that Cherry is actually the one that helped her get away from that lifestyle and turn her life around.

LAS VEGAS — A 22-year-old Miami woman with a history of prostitution arrests was identified Tuesday as a person of interest in a Las Vegas Strip shooting that triggered a spectacular fiery crash and left three people dead, including an aspiring rapper from Oakland.

Police said Tineesha Lashun Howard was in a black SUV with Ammar Harris last week when he fired shots into a Maserati sports car at a self-promoted rapper who investigators say argued with Harris minutes earlier in the valet area of a glassy Strip resort.

Maserati driver Kenneth Wayne Cherry Jr., 27, was mortally wounded before the sports car accelerated and slammed into a taxi that burst into flames — killing the cab driver and his passenger, a businesswoman from Washington state.

Yes, Wasteland 2 is due out soon. Should be interesting to see what they've done.

BTW, the original wasteland was a spinoff of a game called “the Bard's tale” both by EA. It was set in medieval times but gameplay was close to the same.
Loved them both back in the day.
