Why is it necessary in this technological age wen everyone is running around with a computer in his phone or tablet, for these clowns to go to the District of Corruption to "do the business on us"? If they worked in their home district they would be forced to listen to "WE THE PEOPLE" and there would be less of the DC illness that they all get when going back there.

it is the staffers who are the real threat. The desk jockey bureacrats who fly under the radar for DECADES who cause this mess.
In the 1950s the Dept of Agriculture was totally infested with Soviets and US based communists. That has not changed.
