For some reason the elected never put such ideas as this to a public vote at election time. Why is that?

The DemoncRATs in Missouri have stepped on the old crank with golf shoes. They just don't know it yet.
But they will. Oh, they will.
My response to the Dims is...
Bring it. I won’t comply and if you try to use force, well... don’t be surprised when it backfires on you hard.
Gun owners should send Democrats to another state at gun point or let them surrender, renounce their party and give them 90 days after the bill is defeated to make a decision.
Looks like the dems want to turn the Show Me State into the Bite Me State.
The democrats are copying the Austrailian failure.
Democrats forget they have to BUY these items at FAIR MARKET VALUE.
Where is the federal government going to obtain over 1 billion dollars to buy the item, ammo, and anything else associated?
If you live in Mo. you must identify the author of this bill and anyone who signs onto it. Then loudly proclaim them as being un/anti-constitutional, anti American, and an enemy of the people.
Folks from Missouri will say NO and back it up!
I have only seen one semi-automatic pistol with a fixed magazine and that was a Mauser C96, one of the very first self loading pistols manufactured from 1896 to 1937. It was also copied by Spain and China.
It was produced in 7.63×25mm Mauser,9×19mm Parabellum, and .45 ACP. The above photo is of a "red 9" with an integral box magazine holding ten 9mm rounds. You can see the ammunition below the pistol, held in a "stripper clip". The Chinese produced a .45ACP version as they wished to standardize on that caliber (they were armed with Thompson SMG "Tommy guns"). Spain built a select fire version which featured a detachable "box" magazine to increase magazine capacity for full auto fire. The C96 was favored by Winston Churchill and the "Dragon Lady" of Terry and the Pirates fame.
Why on earth would anyone link auto-loading pistols and fixed magazines in the same sentence in anti-gun legislation? You might as well wear a sign that says "I don't know what I'm talking about but you have to listen to me!".

GtG
PS I traded a guy an old beat H&R .22 revolver for a Red 9 C96 when I was about 16. I traded it off before I found out what it was worth. Ah, the follies of youth...
